A tool built around your process, not a process bent to fit the tool

For companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and patched-together off-the-shelf tools. You usually recognise it when someone rewrites data from one system into another every day. Data is scattered across Excel, emails and people's heads, the status of an order is tracked down by phone, and when a colleague is away, nobody else knows how a given task is done. You may already have tried an off-the-shelf tool, but part of the process still runs outside it, so it doesn't show the full picture either.

If an off-the-shelf tool covers your whole process and doesn't hold you back in any way, stay with it. A custom application pays off once the boxed product has stopped being enough and you do part of the work alongside it. If the boxed product is enough for you, we'll tell you on the first call.

An off-the-shelf tool is cheaper at the start. The costs come later: the time spent rewriting and tracking things down grows with the company, a new person takes longer to get up to speed, and every error from rewriting costs money. Another problem arises when you need a feature the tool can't do, or you find out that leaving is only possible by losing data. Your own application costs more at the start, but you can develop it further and it belongs to you once paid.

Customer and partner portals. Booking and ordering systems. Internal tools for a specific workflow. Dashboards and reporting over your data. Calculators and configurators. SaaS-type products, if you're building your own software.

• A specification. A process map, scope, features and their priority, how users will move through the application, timeline and a fixed price. For medium and large projects it is binding and forms an annex to the contract.
• A technical design. Architecture, connections to the systems you already use, speed and security requirements, and the criteria by which it can be called done.
• The application in parts. You see the first usable version before the whole, so you can comment on it while development is still under way.
• Data migration and launch. We migrate the data, launch the application and hand over the code and access to you.
• Training. We train you so you can manage the application yourself.

The analysis is led by an experienced business analyst. AI speeds up our research, data processing and first drafts of the document. The conclusions and context are a person's responsibility. You can also order the specification on its own, for example for a tender or before deciding whether to go ahead with the project at all.

We choose the technology according to what the application has to do, and the reasoning is part of the specification. For example, ACHIW from our references runs on Laravel and React. Since the source code is yours once paid, another team can carry on with these technologies too.

The source code belongs to you once the project is paid in full. It's written in the contract, and you receive the repository, data and access at handover. You can then manage the application yourself, hand it to another supplier, or leave the running of it with us. Running it with us is not a condition.

• A 30-minute call. Online, about your process, with no presentation. We go through what isn't working today and what the application would cover. If an off-the-shelf tool is enough for you, you'll hear it straight away.
• Specification. We describe how the process really works and exactly what will be built. It's ready within two to three weeks. The document is yours, and you can use it to request quotes from others too.
• Development. We build a custom system in 5 to 10 working days from the approved specification. The exact timeline is written in the specification.
• Measurement and development. After launch we track the agreed numbers and extend the application based on what everyday use shows.

We are an eight-person team from Bratislava. Most of the work runs online via a call, a shared screen and a shared document, so we work for clients from all over Slovakia and abroad.

Prices are excl. VAT. The final amount is set by the specification and then it holds.
