Custom websites, e-shops, apps and systems

A template is a cheaper start and is often enough. A custom solution pays off when you need a feature a ready-made product doesn't have, or when the system has to fit your processes exactly. It costs more at the start. In return, you can keep developing it the way you need.

A custom solution does not always make sense, and we will tell you so on the first call. It works out cheaper for both of us.

• A simple website. Our template is enough, we build a simple website from €500.
• A simple e-shop. If you sell a few products and do nothing around orders by hand, a template is enough. On ECOMMIO you start with the Start package from €999 excl. VAT plus the monthly fee.
• An off-the-shelf system that covers the whole process. If the box is enough for you, don't change it.

• Website. When it has to bring in enquiries, orders or bookings that can be counted. If your scope is clear, there is the fixed-scope website. If you need your own design, several languages or integrations, a custom website.
• E-shop. When manual work around orders costs you more than a system that would do it for you. Typically that means retyping stock, B2B prices or an ERP connection that a rented platform doesn't support.
• Custom system. When an off-the-shelf tool has stopped being enough and you handle part of the process outside it, in Excel, in email or in people's heads. Web applications and CRM systems belong here.

• Audit, free of charge. We start by looking at what you have today and where money is leaking. Not with a presentation about ourselves.
• Specification. We write down the scope, features, integrations, timeline and price. You approve it, and only then does building start.
• Development in parts. You see the work in progress as it goes and the first usable version before the final result. Any change in scope is priced first.
• Measurement and development. After launch we track the numbers we agreed on before work began.

Most budget overruns start at the beginning, when building starts on the strength of two paragraphs in an email. That is why every project starts with a specification with acceptance criteria. Both sides then know what is done and what is not.

• Scope to match the project. Small projects get a light specification without unnecessary overhead. Medium and large ones get a full analysis and a binding specification that is an annex to the contract.
• The technical part. Architecture, integrations with other systems, speed and security requirements, and the choice of technology, which we explain to you.
• The document is yours. You can use it to get a quote from anyone you like, even if you give the project to someone else.

You get the timeline in writing in the specification, not verbally in a meeting. From the approved specification, a custom website takes 3 to 5 working days, a custom e-shop or system 5 to 10 working days. The scope usually changes a little during development. But it changes against something written down, so you see the impact on price and timeline before you decide.

For custom websites, apps and systems, the source code is yours once the project is paid in full. It is in the contract and you get the repository, data and access at handover. That means you can leave us: you can run the software yourself or hand it to another team, which can carry on with our technologies. E-shops on our ECOMMIO platform work as a rental: you pay a monthly fee with no minimum term and no revenue share, and the rental terms are in the contract up front.

AI speeds up our research, first drafts of texts and documents, part of the code and data processing. A person decides what a good solution is and what goes out. The analysis is led by an experienced business analyst.

Operations with us are not a condition. If you want them, there are four tiers. All of them include uptime monitoring, security updates and backups; they differ in hours for changes and response times. Those are in the contract, not verbal. Long-term development where we stand behind agreed numbers is the growth partnership.

Prices are excl. VAT. You get the exact number after the specification, and then it holds.
